Sarah N. Sonday
Sarah N. Sonday focuses her practice on real estate and general business matters. Before joining BenePartum Law Group, P.A. as an attorney, Sarah worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Hayden and the Honorable Vicki E. Landwehr in St. Cloud, Minnesota. As a judicial law clerk, Sarah had the unique opportunity to work with the three-judge panel appointed to the Coleman/Franken Senate Recount Trial. Besides working as a law clerk, Sarah also previously worked for a small real estate firm in Minnetonka, Minnesota, where she conducted real estate litigation, initiated assessment lien foreclosures, and represented individuals, business owners, and common interest communities in real estate and general business matters.
Born and raised in Waseca, Minnesota, Sarah attended undergraduate school at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Spanish, with a minor in Foreign Studies. While an undergraduate student, Sarah lived and studied language and culture in Cuernavaca, Mexico and Toledo, Spain. Sarah went on to earn her Juris Doctorate degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she served as an associate writer on the Hamline Journal of Public Law & Policy. Sarah also earned a Certificate in Arbitration Law & Practice from Hamline's Dispute Resolution Institute.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys hiking, traveling, and camping.
